About a Dance of Light
Artist's Statement

A Dance of Light glass art studio was conceived by Brooks Wilson and his wife, Melissa Ferrell, in 1991 in Fresno, California. The purpose was to create not only traditional and contemporary glass art, but especially that which was unusual and unique for homes and places of business. Though Melissa died of cancer in 1998, Brooks has carried on with their vision.

Brooks specializes in leaded and etched glass art for such things as sidelights, room dividers, transoms, cabinet and door panels, and fire screens. All creations are custom, one-of-a-kind art.

Brooks prefers to go to the clients' home or business to gain a better understanding of the clients' personality and taste in order to achieve the ultimate, harmonious outcome. He encourages clients to participate in the development process as much as they may desire. It is beneficial for them to understand the glass art medium as much as possible in order to gain the maximum appreciation for their investment.
